Admin Strategies manages the ongoing processing of eligibility transactions by serving as the focal point for eligibility submissions. All eligibility change requests are funneled through our processing center before being submitted to the insurance carriers. Eligibility changes include:

  • New hire employee enrollments
  • Employee terminations
  • COBRA reinstatements
  • Qualifying event changes
    (marriage, divorce, new born, adoption, etc.)

Value is added by carefully auditing and editing the client's enrollment information to ensure the benefit plan carriers receive complete and accurate data. This reduces the number of employee issues that can arise from erroneous or delayed enrollment. Admin Strategies also audits the data against the plans eligibility rules to ensure the integrity of the data.

The work doesn't stop there. We set realistic expectations with every employee so they understand what to expect throughout the entire enrollment process. Our follow-up continues until we've confirmed that each and every transaction has been processed accurately. We obtain the ID number and timing of ID card distribution for each new enrollment and advise the respective employee accordingly.

Confirmation Statements

While communication throughout the process reassures your employees that their enrollment is in good hands, nothing gives the piece of mind of finality like a Benefits Confirmation Statement. Once we confirm that an employee has been successfully enrolled in each of your respective benefit plans we will distribute a Confirmation Statement to the employee that summarizes their benefit elections.

Each Confirmation Statement will show the plan type, level of coverage and employee annual cost for each plan in which they are enrolled. It will also show those coverages that they were eligible for but chose not to participate in. If the employee enrolled for dependent coverage this statement will also identify each specific dependent and the plans they are participating in.

Just to assure complete accuracy of their benefit elections the confirmation statement will include Confirmation Instructions that will explain exactly who the employee must notify, as well as how to notify them should they need to make any corrections.

Finally, the Confirmation Statement will reinforce the role that Admin Strategies will play as their complete benefits service center and advocate to the insurance companies on a going forward basis.
